About Smokin' Harley-Davidson
Our store is located in the gorgeous
Winston-Salem area, just under the Mount Airy area off of highway Business 40,
exit 10. From our location there are
hundreds of accessible country roads and stretches of highway to cruise and
breathe the Carolina air.
We opened on May 9th, 2009 but came with
experience! We have four other stores located in Louisiana. We pride ourselves
on prompt, excellent service. All
employees are instructed to provide service to every visitors needs in the
smoothest and most compatible manner. We
also have one simple phrase: "Your destination, not just your
dealership." At Smokin' we value
the customer to the highest degree. This
is why we have monthly Bike Nights, our weekend cookouts, and our ride
events--with free music, food, beverages, and best of all, the sound of roaring
bikes in every direction. Be sure to add yourself to our V.I.P. Club to receive
updates and notifications of events and to enter into drawings! We love getting pictures of our customers and
guests. We maintain both a Riders' Rides
page as well as a collection of pictures we save from our events--Pay us a
visit and see your face online!
Our store offers both New Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Pre-Owned Motorcycles with financing
available. If you don't see what you are
looking for, click on BikeFinder , fill out the form, and we will let you know
when bikes arrive that match your search!
Be sure to glance at our constantly changing weekly specials. Getting your first bike? Ask to take a test drive!
We also provide repair services and a
stocked parts inventory to keep you and your bike on the road. Be sure to stop by our Motorclothes department where we maintain a huge collection of Harley-Davidson® accessories,
gear, and clothes. Everything from coffee
mugs, to leathers, to watches to satisfy your Harley enthusiast needs.
Again, we want you to have the best
possible Harley experience. Come out
today and see us at Smokin' Harley-Davidson, your Carolina Destination
Dealership!
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE!!!
Freedom Memorial Wall
In 2006, the Harley Owners Group (then Chapter #3565) President Mark Leonard and Tracy Crisp Sechrest (the granddaughter of Curly Williams, Curly's HD owner), joined together to successfully transfer the Freedom Memorial Wall into a "non-profit" organization.
In 2007, the Freedom Memorial Wall was
moved to Curly's Harley Davidson's new larger location at 3441 Myer Lee Dr.
Winston-Salem, NC 27101 and placed around an outdoor covered stage. Then on May
2, 2010 the Freedom Memorial Wall was rededicated during a short distance move
to its own private area atop of the beautiful entrance hill overlooking the
dealership (now Smokin' Harley Davidson). It is believed by all that the
Freedom Memorial Wall is "in-and-of-itself." It stands strong and independent.
It shares no affiliation to any dealership. But it is with great pride, joy,
and excitement that the current dealership honors and allows this Memorial Wall
on their property. It is this belief, that if anything changes, no matter what
this Memorial Wall will find ?hallow ground? to always exist long into the
future. It is with thanks to all the volunteers and their "labor-of-Love" and "gift"of giving who maintain and repair the Memorial Wall.
The Freedom Memorial Wall is a celebration of motorcycling regardless of brand affiliation. The Freedom Memorial Wall signifies that the brotherhood of riders goes beyond life, just as life itself extends beyond death (John 3:16). Each of these riders will be missed and remembered by their loved ones, family, friends, and fellow riders. Our prayers for every family member and our memories of every Freedom Memorial Wall name will continue with each ride and throughout all time.
Every Year the FIRST SUNDAY IN MAY,
riders, families, friends, and loved ones, gather together in a "time-honored"
one day ceremony to remember the lives of those who have passed on and to share
the memories of each who loved their motorcycles, the wind in their face and
the sun to their back. Once each year, the names of fellow riders who are no
longer with us will be added to this memorial and the names of motorcyclists
may be submitted by family members or friends.
